Nine Months

Where has the time gone. Tim is already getting into everything. This month he has learned to crawl, and boy does he move fast. He's learned how to pull up, mostly he pulls up with the coffee table. He's taking big boy bubble baths, and trying to pull himself up in the bathtub. His first tooth is poking through, but he won't let anyone look at it, let alone take a picture of it. Well here's to nine months of happiness, love, and getting into trouble.

Banana And Cereal Everywhere

The other day Tim had his first experience of feeding himself. First we started with a banana, which was innocent enough, he'd had finger foods before so this went pretty smoothly.

Then we tried eating with a spoon, out of a bowl. He was showing interest, so I thought, why not. These last two pictures tell the story far better then I could. And you may ask, where is the bowl? And I will answer, it's on the floor. The dogs ate most of Tim's breakfast that day.

First Garage Sale

Yesterday, Tim enjoyed his first ever garage sale. We made 147. 50$, which doesn't seem like a lot, but we sure did get rid of a lot of junk. Lucky for us it was a gorgeous day out, and probably the last nice weekend until spring.

This is Tim's first experience of touching green grass. We didn't have much of a backyard in Alabama. It was made of wild grass, which was actually just a bunch of weeds. As you can see in the picture he didn't like the feel of the grass at all, so we got him a blanket to play on.

Hanging out with his dad.

Here's grandma. Go Riders!! Unfortunately they lost later in the day.

You should have seen the other guy..

So far Tim has had two spills since we arrived at my parents house. The first one happened when he was trying to kiss his reflection in the mirror, and instead face planted into the mirror. The second happened as he was trying to pull himself up. He has fully recovered from his first accident, but still carries a bruise from his second.

We made it

Finally arrived in Saskatoon. We drove 1900 miles, took three days. And actually arrived in one piece.

Here we are driving down the interstate.

And coming up to St. Louis

And Tim was very well behaved for most of the trip. He did have a few grumpy times, mostly after his dad lost his soother. We found it though, but only after buying new ones.

He's sneezing in this picture.

I am very happy to say that our Blog has won an award courtesy of Kerry at and baby makes four.

"This award is for those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world."

So now I will pay this forward and pass it on to four of my favorite bloggers match this description.

Lori- Her baby blog is a great read. I check on it nearly everyday. And she always offers great advice on the babycenter message board that we both frequent. Her son Connor and my son Tim share, nearly, the same birth month, and it's nice to read how other babies Tim's age are doing.

Amanda- She has a wonderful blog. And always leaves friendly comments.

Anna- I frequently read her blog, and she offers inspiration to me as a SAHM.

Jesi- Another baby blog. She always brings a smile to my face. And makes her blog humorous, smart, and wholesome.
